It is a good thing I was not alive in MTV's heyday, because I would never have accomplished anything. I sat down an hour ago to write this paper about Jungian psychology in Pride and Prejudice but instead I just watched a long series of 80s music videos on YouTube. I would like to share my finds with you in the form of a tribute to my new idol, Bunty.


Joining the ranks of the incredible Patti Boyd (the woman who inspired both George Harrison's "Something" and Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight"), Bunty Bailey is obviously a contender for the title of coolest lady on earth because she stars in the videos for both A-Ha's "Take on Me" and The Outfield's "Your Love." According to this blog I happened upon, Bunty dated Morton Harket (comic-book singer guy from video #1) and "Harket and Bailey continued the relationship until after rumors Bunty dumped the popstar for the English punk-pop artist Billy Idol." 

So I now present, for your viewing pleasure, some videos. I find the first video superior in its story and aesthetics, but I like the second song better.
